A bunch of facial profiles I've done! They're mainly focusing on realism and/or anatomical correctness.
This first one was an assignment I had in my Foundations of Art and Design (FAD) class. The objective was to replicate an image we were given using our eyes. Basically, redrawing it to look as similar as the original as possible.
This one is just a profile. I focused mostly on making the hair seem as nice and flowing as possible with as minimal detail as I could. I think I accomplished that to a degree.
Now, this one was a pain to do. Another assignment from my FAD class, we had to replicate an image by ERASING. Hence the darker, pencil shaded background. After the erasing, we used pencil to accent the appearance.
An old self portrait of me! :3 Probably could have done some things better, but it turned out all right in my opinion.
